Taksim Mosque Construction

40% of Taksim Mosque construction is completed.  90 percent of the main construction is done of the new Taksim Mosque In Taksim Square and all work of the building that has been done yet is 40 percent.
The construction, which the famous architects ┼×efik Birikiye and Selim Dalaman signature on, works started last year on February 17 on the 2 thousand 482 square meters area in Taksim square, ongoing works continue on car park area and on the main dome. 

90 Percent Of Construction Completed 

 Ahmet Misbah Demircan the Mayor of Beyoglu, said that the mosque's construction began last year, and since then almost 90 percent of rough construction has been done. In total, 40 percent of the mosque is completed. 

Construction Continues Without Disturbing Environment

President Demircan underlines that the ongoing construction of the mosque continues with a brand new technological approach, declared: '' Construction of the Mosque continued both downward and upward. It can be seen that the main dome soon closes up. At the bottom, the basement construction is finished. 

Demircan added that finally right now the construction of the glass is being done, which can be called as the level of completion of rough construction and this is being done without disturbing the environment soon after that, minarets and decorations of inside the mosques will be started. The process of construction is going well, Demircan said.

A Mosque And A Church

Mentioning about the architecture of the Taksim Mosque Demircan claimed that the after finishing the construction, a nice silhouette will be seen a church in one hand and a mosque on another side, this will give us a great opportunity to show Istanbul on the right place.
