Establishing Cancer Hospital with Tender

With the tender held by the Ministry of Health, an oncology hospital is established within the Turgut Özal Medical Center of Malatya İnönü University. The tender of this hospital, which will be built with a capacity of 227 beds, has been concluded. The hospital project, which will be built on an area of ​​29,912 square meters, will cost approximately 71 million liras. The company that won the tender was Özge-Emaş Construction Partnership. The company won the tender with 56 million 875 thousand pounds. It is planned that the basis of the hospital will be taken in the coming days.

The hospital's groundbreaking ceremony is awaited. The new oncology hospital is expected to be open for service in 2019 and its patients will be accepted. In the statement made by Inonu University Rector Professor Dr. Ahmet Kizilay, it is stated that the oncology centers in the region are very limited and this project has a great importance.

There are 16 policlinics planned at the hospital. The hospital will be built with 6 floors, apart from the basement and ground floor. There will be 176 oncology and hematology patient rooms in the hospital. There will be 200 bone marrow treatment rooms and 16 intensive care rooms. 5 iodinated patient rooms and 84 chemotherapy halls are included in the building plan. This hospital, which will be constructed in a very comprehensive way, will be able to fulfill a significant part of cancer treatment needs in the region with sufficient equipment.
