Sector representatives foresees a 15 percent increase in housing and land prices across Izmir in the coming period. The builders, who see the increase in costs and demand as a major factor in the price increases, are also advising investors to buy until the end of October.
Emphasizing that Istanbul residents show great interest in İzmir, sector representatives emphasized that İzmir will capture Istanbul in the next 1.5 years.
In the last two years, the prices of square meters in Balçova have increased from 1500 liras to 2500 liras, from Karsiyaka 2 thousand liras to 3 thousand liras and from Bayraklı to 1500 liras.. The construction of the part of the İzmir-Çandarlı Highway up to Çandarlı has also increased the prices in Karsiyaka, Çiğli, Ulukent Menemen and Aliağa by 50 percent. The construction of the city hospital campus projected by Türkerler Holding in Bayraklı also moved the region.
