Turkish house sales surge in March 2017, according to data released by the Emir Sezgin who is the co-founder of one of the major real estate agency. The compared to the same period of previous year, house sales in Turkey increased by 7,3 percent. 325,780 house sales in by the end of March 2017 and this is the highest number of the last 5 years.

House sales in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Bursa that compared the previous year increase by 1 percent, 14 percent, 4 percent, 4 percent respectively. However house sale in Antalya did not changed. The increase was due to two main reasons; tax relief and real estate companies' campaigns.
One Of The Each Two House Were Sold In ‘’First Time’’.
Newly-constructed house continued to constitute an important share of the 325,780 unit total sales with 45 percent being sold for the first time. By the way firsthand sales which is called ''First purchase'' increased in these cities.
Iraqis Ranked First Again In The Foreigners Buying Property
When throughout the country examined sales of house to foreigner, house sales to foreigners decreased by 8 percent year on year to 4,316 units. Iraqis, Saudi Arabians and Kuwaitis showed highest interest to buying houses in Turkey. Iraqis ranked first in the foreigners buying property with the 20 percent of the total purchasing. Saudi arabian and Kuwaitis followed the Iraqis with 10 percent 9 percent respectively. Foreigners mostly preferred property in Istanbul which was followed by Antalya and Bursa.
