Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, the construction of which began in 2013, to today is open for use. And moreover, since the opening of the bridge to the real estate prices in the surrounding area increased by 90%. For three years until the bridge was built, the price per square meter of property along the route of the bridge has increased significantly. So for example the prices of the square meters for sale increased by 89.9 percent in Arnavutköy-Hadımköy; 55,7 percent in Chatalca; 17 percent in Sarıyer and 77,5 percent in Beykoz.
At the same time, according to expert estimates, prices in areas close to the bridge Yavuz Sultan Selim will continue to grow. Statistical dates have confirmed already these predictions. so, as of January 2017 the price per square meter of housing in Chatalca area increased by 4.9% compared with the same period last year. In the district of Sariyer in comparison with January last year, the price rose by 17.8 percent. Price per square meter of housing for sale in Beykoz district was 42.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
Sultan Selim bridge in Istanbul and the metro have been implemented to be integrated into the transport infrastructure Ataturk Airport, Sabiha Gokcen Airport and the new airport. All three airports will be connected with each other. Therefore experts suggest increasing the cost per square meter housing in the area adjacent to the bridge again at the final stage of the road link in the future.
