Household sales in Turkey were 97 579 in June 2017, decreasing by 8.1 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. In residential sales, Istanbul 17 970 has the highest share with 18.4% sales of housing. According to the sales figures, İzmir followed with 10 160 housing sales, 10,4 percent share in Ankara, 6 034 housing sales and 6.2 percent share respectively. The number of residential sales was low in Hakkari with 2 houses respectively, Ardahan with 20 houses and Bayburt with 31 houses respectively.

In Turkey, mortgaged residential sales decreased by 3.2 percentcompared to the same month of the previous year and were 35 210. The share of mortgage sales in total housing sales was 36.1%. During the mortgage sales, Istanbul 6 received 963 housing sales and the first order with 19.8 percent share. The highest mortgage sales share in total housing sales was Artvin with 56.1%.

Other home sales in Turkey decreased by 10.7 percent percentcompared to the same month of the previous year and became 62 369. In other housing sales, Istanbul 11 007 residential sales and first place with a share of 17.6percent. The share of other sales in total housing sales in Istanbul was 61.3 percent. Ankara 5 981 took second place with other housing sales. İzmir followed Ankara with 3 684 residential sales. The sale of other housing was at least one province with 1 province was Hakkari.

45 433 houses sold for the first time in residential sales
The number of houses sold for the first time in Turkey decreased by 7.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and was 45 433. The first sales share in total housing sales was 46.6%. During the first sales, Istanbul had the highest share with 8,656 houses sold and 19,1 percent, followed by İzmir with 3 585 houses sold in Istanbul and 2 341 houses sold in Ankara.
Used housing for sale changed 52 146 housing units
Second-hand home sales in Turkey overall declined by 8.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 52.146. In second-hand housing sales, Istanbul also ranked first with 31,94 house sales and 17,9 percent share. The share of second hand sales in total housing sales in Istanbul was 51.8%. Ankara took second place with 6 575 residential sales. İzmir followed with the sale of 3 693 houses in Ankara.
